Playtech was founded in 1999 and went on to be listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2006. They power over 50 online casinos and the games are available via a free download or a no download flash based client. In total they have 7 video poker variations with one progressive game called Megajacks.

The best game at Playtech casinos is the Two Ways Royal machine which has a pay back of 99.80%. It has a 4,000 coin win for both a high royal flush (A, K, Q, J, 10) and a low royal flush (2, 3, 4, 5, 6). The single hand games tend to offer the best pay backs and coin sizes range from 0.05 to 5.00.

If you like the double up feature Playtech games also have the option of a half gamble. This means you take half of the original win and double up the other half. Currently Playtech is the only software provider we found with this option.

The Megajacks progressive is a 25c machine with a starting jackpot of $300 that reaches a 100% RTP if the jackpot is above $1230. To win the progressive you need a royal flush in any suit while playing max bet of five coins per hand.

Where to Play

At one point Playtech was easily the second biggest casino software provider. From around 2006 their market share has been declining due to various country restrictions. There are also very few Playtech only online casinos operating in 2021.
